Recent Cinesthesia projects include writer/director Jeff Kao’s new feature film ‘Knowing Nothing Cold’ (Production Sound, Music Supervision and Original Music), now an official selection of the NewFilmakers LA, DEFY (Nashville) and Queens World (NYC) Film Festivals, set to receive an East Coast premiere Sat. 3/17/18 at QWFF; as well as Jonathan King’s ‘Marie’ (Production Sound and Foley).

Phillip Park received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Intermedia Arts from the University of Iowa under that program’s founder/director Hans Breder, with emphasis on video arts, incorporating performance, installation, painting, printmaking and sculpture; studied Electronic Music Studio under pioneering experimental composer Kenneth Gaburo as well as Film studies under noted theorist and critic J. Dudley Andrew.
In 2000, Phillip earned certification in AVID Media Composer editing through the Wexner Center For The Arts before joining McGinnis Video Productions as AVID editor and Forensic Videographer.
In 2007, he joined the staff of WOSU Public Media as TV Broadcast Technician performing studio and remote audio mixing, recording and editing in their state of the art WOSU@COSI Battelle and Nationwide studios, occasionally serving additional auxiliary roles as camera op, lighting engineer, grip. Notable projects include NASA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration broadcast live via satellite worldwide; BBC World Service’s ‘World, Have Your Say’ live broadcast, as well as the ‘Columbus Neighborhoods’ documentary series, ’Chefs In The City’, ‘Columbus On The Record’ and ‘In The Know’ for WOSU.
Additionally, Phillip coordinated and scheduled student interns, volunteers, and independent professionals for all WOSU TV studio production crew positions from 2008-’11.
In 2011, Phillip formed Cinesthesia Limited, whose earliest clients included the BET network and PBS, for whom he acted in 2012 as A2 for an interview with President Obama by Ed Gordon, and also for America’s Ballroom Challenge.
Phillip is currently an advisory board member and a volunteer instructor in the Ft. Hayes Metropolitan Education Center’s Audio Production department, under Ryan Van Bibber, and a member of IATSE Local 12.
